 In Hinduism, Goddess Durga is revered as the supreme divine feminine power, and she manifests herself in nine different forms, known as the **Navadurga**. Each form, or *roop*, represents different qualities of the goddess and is associated with a specific color, symbolizing various aspects of life. Here's a breakdown of the nine forms of Durga, along with their colors, blessings, and significance:


### 1. **Shailaputri (Daughter of the Mountain)**

   - **Color**: Yellow 

   - **Blessings**: Provides strength, courage, and a strong will.

   - **Significance**: She is the first form of Durga, embodying the power of Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva. She represents purity and devotion.


### 2. **Brahmacharini (The Ascetic)**

   - **Color**: Green

   - **Blessings**: Blesses with peace, devotion, and prosperity.

   - **Significance**: Symbolizing love, loyalty, and wisdom, Brahmacharini is the goddess who performed severe penance to attain Lord Shiva as her consort.

   - **Significance**: She is a fierce form, born from the anger of the gods to kill the buffalo demon Mahishasura. Worshipping Katyayani is believed to resolve issues related to love and marriage.
